What we collect, and why

If you use the contact form

Your name, email address, an optional phone number, your message, and the IP address the message was sent from.

The first four are used to read your enquiry and reply to it, and nothing else. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not pass them to anyone.

The IP address is kept for a different reason, and it is worth being plain about: it is how we limit the form to three messages a day from one address, which is what stops it being used by automated scripts. It is deleted when the message is.

We keep enquiries for 24 months and then delete them. Ask us to delete yours sooner and we will.

If you have an account

Your email address, a hashed password, and the times you signed in. Accounts exist only because an administrator created one; this site has no public sign-up. A session cookie keeps you signed in and is deleted when you log out.

Visitor statistics

We count visits with Plausible, which was chosen specifically because it sets no cookies and stores no personal data. It records a page address, a referrer, a country, and a device type. It cannot identify you and it cannot follow you to another site.

That is also why this site shows you no cookie banner: there is nothing to ask your permission for. The only cookie we set is the session that keeps an account holder signed in, which is exempt from consent because the site cannot work without it.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — write to TODO — contact email. You can also complain to the Slovenian Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec) if you think we have handled your data badly.

Screens we operate

This notice covers this website. The screens our customers run with our software show the content those customers choose; our players record what played and for how long, and no cameras, microphones or audience measurement are involved. Nothing about the people who walk past a screen is collected.
